Villa Renier, historic villa abode of Ugo Foscolo

It is said that in the nineteenth century Ugo Foscolo, Italian poet, writer and translator and one of the leading writers of neoclassicism and pre-Romanticism, stayed in this villa and wrote here the novel “Ultime lettere a Jacopo Ortis”. Now, after more than 20 years since the death of the elderly landlord, the four heirs were never able to buy the villa.....

Very little is known about Villa Magnoni, an abandoned house in Cona, near Ferrara. The old, big house must once have been magnificent, but it has been empty for lot of years. This is just another ghost story.....
