Although it is an unusual custom, it is technically possible to built a church in an area of only 100 square meters, and this small church on an island in Russia proves it. On the Ticino river, south of the covered bridge, which was one of Pavia’s most symbolic monuments, there is a now abandoned structure, left to decay. It is the Idroscalo of Pavia, which was an important piece of history of the Pavia of the Twenties.
